The economy may be heading south, but New York City women are determined that that will not be the fate of their faces.

New York may be the epicenter of the U.S financial world and, therefore, the hardest hit psychologically and job-wise, but it’s also the chutzpah capital of the country. People in other parts of the land might look at their bank accounts and decide that high-priced beauty treatments are a luxury. Not New Yorkers. Here we’re so hyper-competitive in every way that they are a necessity.
